My favorite snack of all time locally known as boflot or poff poff is just the African version of doughnut.
This doughnut is best eaten hot with peanut or peanut butter and a chilled drink.
It is very affordable and can be found right on the street, but be careful because if you try one chances are you will be back for more; from experience.
