Ready.

All in the hope that you’ll wait for me,
Till I’m ready,

I kept myself busy with trying to hide my spots and scars,

For the stains on my previously white gown I had sown a similar colour of cloth on them,

Because I knew you were waiting for me,

I even wrote the words you said in my palm with the tears we both shed that night,

While I looked at them I waited,

And then I soon realized,

I misinterpreted everything,

You said I should wait for you,

This tragedy of a revelation would warrant my damnation,

You took my hands in yours but I tried to wriggle free,

Thank you for saving me.
