All I want for Christmas is a list of things. You can call it my Christmas bucket list. First, I need a month long leave from work dedicated to checking off my bucket list.
I miss my family. It would be nice to have us all in one place catching up and spending time together. There are new additions to the family that I don’t know on an intimate level other than the usual phone conversations. Like every family gathering, we would get along until we can no longer stand each other; small price to pay if you ask me.
Reconnecting to my source. Studying, praying, meditating and waiting. Daily activities barely allows for uninterrupted time of intimacy with the Creator.
The way the year unfolded limited the dose of activities and hangouts that I could have had with my friends. Hopefully, this time of year will help us reconnect and make new memories.
I badly need a get away trip. An adventure to anywhere out of town will do a lot of good for my mental well-being. Mountain climbing, boat ride, a walk on the beach, horseback riding all a great way to take my mind off the pressures of adulthood.
Also, I need time to complete my drafts, read and edit, as well as layout and structure new ideas.
As the year goes to an end, it’s important to reflect. Celebrating the wins, accepting and learning from the things that went wrong and plan for the coming year.
Last but not least, considering the time frame of a month. After all of the above, if there is some time left, all I will want to do is workout, eat, sleep, watch movies, repeat.
These are what I really want for Christmas. I hope Santa comes through for me 🤷🏽♀️.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁.
