when i say this you can think up a dry joke if you may,
if you care to know how enviable it is to know that someone knows the ins and outs of you,
there’s someone you answer to,
someone who knows your deepest darkest secrets,
someone you share your ups and downs with,
just cast aside the fact that i’m trembling as i type this,
in order to relax i’ll need to take a walk in the park because this has never been easy,
deep breaths,
in my dreams i can only reach out and touch you,
both of those things don’t happen,
