Through the mill,
Through the storm and rain,
Through the fire wanting an escape,
Life lessons that will carry me through life’s journey.
From here on out,
I know better days are certainly ahead.
My faith has been tested,
Learnt patience through endurance,
Leaped over huddles of insecurities,
Trusting more in my abilities and judgment.
There is a story behind every scar,
How I was weak but still kept moving,
How I was misunderstood but time did vindicate.
You taught me to persevere through hardship.
Nothing good comes easy,
Life only gives us what we fight for.
I am a better vessel now, having gone through the obstacle course.
Bring it on!
