life, a labyrinth without its accompanying walls,
a car without a steering wheel
a bottle of cyanide without a cap on top,
a ferris wheel without a stop button,
a disaster waiting to happen,
one can find themselves going in circles,
the second shelf of memories casually featuring something embarrassing that happened in 2006,
the enemy subtly pulling strings and saying “this one is no good,”
makes me wonder if perhaps, circles are a necessary evil,
a reminder that there is a cycle that needs to be broken, mangled and set ablaze,
a family situation, a personal anxiety,
to figure out the labyrinth and find the path to the exit door,
is to allow the vicious cycle to end,
this is for the next time you are going in circles,
let realization set in,
find the exit door.
