Some say the soft life era characterizes a woman who has been declared broke. For me, it’s about a woman who has been declared broke but has her stuff together. [/s]
The soft life is still technically very hard. I’m trying so hard to be laid-back because if you’re stressed, you’re doing it WRONG and if all that is left is your frustration and exhaustion, you have to start OVER.
But that’s okay. If it takes a few falling-apart of the dominoes we’ll take it from the top. No harm, no foul. Just remember that the hardest part is taking it easy because for me personally, my mind isn’t designed that way. But learning that was hard also.

So where is the easy part then? Does it get warm and fuzzy and exciting? I’m going to have to hit you with a curveball. It DOES! Yes! It’s in your morning routine, it’s in your quiet time. It’s in your hellos and goodbyes, it’s in your guilty pleasure show/movie/song. It doesn’t seem like a soft life and that’s okay for now till you have it figured out. That’s because your day is littered with a little softness here and there. Like a little dosage of delight and a small dime of dopamine!
See? It’s all coming back now isn’t it?
