Daddy told me to do things myself.
At first, it sounded off because I often do things in my own time and way by myself.
What did daddy see for him to say that?
I pondered on these words from daddy and I still didn’t get it but years latter, i finally get it.
Daddy said; people will not always do for you what you do for them.
Daddy said; people will often misunderstand you but as long as your intentions are good, don’t let it get to you.
Daddy said; never try to please people, it is an impossible draining act.
Daddy said; don’t try to fit in, never dim your light for anyone, stay true to your authentic self.
Daddy said; ask for help when you need it but never be dependent on anyone, people change as time changes.
Daddy said; forgive, it is not easy but it will heal you.
Daddy said; you will make mistakes, learn from them and move on. Do not let your mistakes hold you back.
Daddy said; dream, dream baby dream! Nothing is impossible.
