Conned by a slithering beast with an apple of all things, most days I find myself thinking about how an all-you-can-eat would have gone down instead in the Garden of Eden, surely A&E would not have resisted some lamb chops but an APPLE?
And who am I to judge? Promised the finest things in life by the most conniving creature in all of human history, the original Tinder Swindler. I too, would have fallen for it. Pun intended. But oh Eve, the beginning of our suffering and pain, this is my second post on this blog about Eve but definitely not my last. I hope you understand, Eve, but you dropped the ball on this one. It is actually Adam who has me cackling, because not only did he not intervene mid scam, he ALSO took a bite from the forbidden fruit.
But we all know what happens afterwards. Fortunately for you we are in the season where our Father in Heaven sends His only Son to be born so that He can live and be crucified so we can be saved.
