Caution: Vulnerability AheadLearning To Live A Little

Life is incredibly short, and in my twenty-something years of living I am not ashamed to say that I have done things I regret, said things I regret.

on October 6 I took a wee trip to the beach. Never been to the beach before. Shocker, trust me, I know. A bright sunny day, when the beach was not too busy. A moment spent looking out onto a vastness of water that I initially thought would give me the heebeegeebees gave me one more item to check off my bucket list.
Everything felt perfect. The sand between my toes, the tide that came rushing after, the breeze, the air…everything…

When I left I knew I wanted to go back again so I did. It feels like all your problems have disappeared, and only return when you leave. Through this experience I realize how much time we spend locked up in the same 2-3 places with no chance of feeling free. Go to the beach. Go for a walk, skip rope, listen to some music and dance, shake off the stress.

You’ve earned it.

Nessa 🖤
