S.H.E๐Ÿ’œ

she became a mother, oh yes, and she understood,

๐Ÿ’œShe was just a little girl, inexplicably innocent, at least that is how the world saw her

๐Ÿ’œThen she became a teenager, where did the time go? She began to shut herself away

๐Ÿ’œMama’s words she recalled, she was told her humility would take her places

๐Ÿ’œShe considered not, places of self hate, places of disgrace and constant breakdown, all she knew was that she had to power through and boy did she hold her head up,

๐Ÿ’œMama’s prayers kept her through it all and she could hear her mother praying in another room, Lord, this is my child,” audible sniffs, loads of used tissues, handkerchiefs are not left out

๐Ÿ’œ”Why is my mother scared for me she’d ask

๐Ÿ’œThen she became a mother, oh yes, and she understood, a mother’s pain, a mother’s plight.
